	Retro Skills

My father served in the Army Reserve as an adjunct public relations specialist for Exercise Dragonhead. I inherited from him a love of history, public speaking and audio visual media. I grew up knowing how to use slide and 16mm movie projectors. Later, as I developed as an artist and designer, I learned about film-based photography and built by own black & white dark room. Over the years, I have amassed a number of “retro skills”. Who knows when they will be useful once again.


	R.I.P. Adobe FLASH

		I invested time and money to go to Pittsburgh to take classes to become a “Certified” FLASH Programmer. Now FLASH is no-more. Knowing how to program in FLASH is useless skill. I now need to remove it from my Resume.


	I will never again see the animated gopher with the twitching nose I created using FLASH. I will no longer be able to show the animated brain garage or my animation explaining thermal-conductivity in metallic solids. FLASH has gone the way of digital extinction. Farewell Old Friend
